Jomfruland

At Saltstein on the sea-side there is a ridge with bedrock from ancient times. The bedrock is gneiss, and one can see traces of ice scour in the form of stripes and grooves. Crystalline basement rock is also visible at Kråka (northern tip of the Island) and by the camping site on the inner, land-side of the Island.
